Having a ladder has nothing to do with being able to walk on the roof for a keystone product. A ladder is just an option, they add supports to the rear walls of the TT for the ladder. The roof is built the same way no matter what. You-tube keystone building process, they are all built with the same thickness plywood that can be walked on for maintenance as stated earlier. I walk on mine every time to install / remove the cover. There is absolutely no problem at all with doing this.
Thanks for the idea of the you tube videos. I watched one video for the passport and nothing was mentioned about the roof. I watched another video on the outback and they specifically mentioned that the roof was strong enough to walk on. I will call on Monday and report back what I find out.
