Lynn, you need more information to make that decision and some clarification on what you've written.
Look in your owner's manual for the GCWR- ( Gross COMBINED weight rating) of your truck. The GVWR is the gross weight your truck can safely carry WITHIN the truck including the hitch weight. The GCWR is what the truck can safely carry including everything IN the truck PLUS the trailer AND it's contents.
You stated the "loading sticker" says no more than 1447 #..is this the trailers loading sticker or the trucks?...I believe it to be the trucks.
There are many things to consider when determining the safety of towing. Your engine and transmission are two, then there's the alternator size, tires, differential and most importantly, your trucks braking system. Start first though, with finding the GCWR of your truck. If it's not in the manual, perhaps a call to the mfg with your VIN will help.
Your figures seem to indicate you'd be within the GVWR, but you may be exceeding your GCWR which would make towing the Lance unsafe.
Don't assume YOUR GCWR is the same as mine because of the above variables....Dennis
