Can trailer tires be patched?

I have a set of goodyear endurance tires on my TT and one of them has a nail in the tread about an inch in from the sidewall. The tire is only 2 years old. Can I take it to a shop and have it patched from the inside like I've done with car tires? Is this safe? Thanks.

Yeah, do not accept a "plug" as the higher pressure in ST tires tends to force the plug out.

ask them how they patch. fords way is the best, done hundreds of them back in the good old days .

Yes, Like dodge Guy stated it is ok to patch as long as it’s done proper..

I always liked to use the patch/plug (umbrella patch) from the inside…..

Yes, it won’t be an issue! I’ve done it on trailer tires.
