Can you overload a dually?
Obviously you can!! Sheared the frame at the front leaf spring mounts!! The tongue extension on the trailer just made things worse!! Mark

But....He has five printouts from folks saying "you are good for it"...And a couple printouts from folks saying "been doing that for years with no problems"....And he installed those helper springs or were they air bags....Now he's waiting for those folks to come along and both help & pay for the damage... :S
I'm wondering if he cares for the folks who took his advice "you are good for it" and "been doing that for years with no problems"....Or is he thinking "why me...This stuff only happens to the other guys"
Looks like no WD hitch system...Maybe one of those expensive WD hitches would have saved him....:R
Since the wheels didn't instantly fall off...Thought it's okay....:B
Oh yeah...An old picture posted many times...So the new trucks won't do this...No lesson to be learned on the this old one...:C
