Can you overload a dually?
Obviously you can!! Sheared the frame at the front leaf spring mounts!! The tongue extension on the trailer just made things worse!! Mark

All to do with simple physics.
Check out where the tow line is attached...then how it's 'lifted' quite a distance over what appears to be a cement culvert in the bed of the truck.
Predictable...bending and possible breakage of the truck frame...all due to the angle of the tow cable and minimal pulling force.
