I am coming to Tampa to shop. The 2011 - 2012 F250's we have been looking at are all above 40,000. They are 41,000 to 45,000. On Saturday we got a 49,000 out the door price for a new one so we went looked at a used one and it was 41500.
We are soooo confused right now on what to get. We have been looking over at the Ford forums and most of them probably dont tow cause they were all wondering why we would not just get a F150 5.0 with 3.73 max tow package not needed.
So right now we are looking at:
F250
F150 5.0 3.73(if we can find one) max tow package (if we can find one)
F150 Ecoboost with the max tow package (if we can find one)
It seems most of the F150's we are searched on and we have I know looked at over 100 on the internet all have no max tow package and most with the 3.55 RR ratio. This is one 5.0 and ecoboost.
I even have a service through my work where you can have someone look for you a vehicle and he said that he was having a hard time finding anything with our specific needs.
I know we will find one but we can't tow with our current truck and haven't been since last July and the trailer is feeling abandonded.
