Unfortunately, Ford makes the whole tow, max tow, max payload options very confusing. You can get a "tow package" added to most any F150 but it doesn't do much. The "max tow" adds more stuff and has a somewhat higher GVWR anywhere from 7400-7700, but does not necessarily include the HD payload. The only way to get the 8200lb GVWR is to get the HD Payload, which then includes the max tow.
The Ford Build and Price is also very confusing in this respect. The only way for HD payload option to even be shown is to select "3.73 limited slip" axle, which will automaticly select HD payload and max tow. It can be had in most cab and trim styles. Any other axle selection and HD Payload is not even shown.
