Why buy a short bed specifically to haul a camper?
Don’t get a gas truck just to gain GVWR. It’s not real. The engine would be lighter so the front axle would be lighter, but almost all the camper weight goes on the rear axle.
In the real world, that nonsense about spec-ing a gas truck to increase GVWR for hauling a camper is just crazy.
If you ever drive a dually with a camper on it, you’ll never use a single rear wheel truck for that again.
That’s all I’ll say about that!!
