I can't agree without seeing some comparison tests. Diesels also have exhaust brakes going downhill because they "need" to because they are diesels. Gasoline engines have compression braking and Ford has technology to control descent even on gasoline engine transmissions.
True or not, my F450 will probably stop faster than either even though my F450 is heavier. :)
