But this is response is limited only to registration. I agree, you would have to register it at 12,000 lbs, so that you could carry up to the 10,000 established by the manufacturer. I still don't see, just because you register it at "up to 12,000 lbs" as making the truck suddenly rated up to that amount; thereby making the truck ratings irrelevant.
