Thanks for sharing this. Even though I don't own one of those particular rigs, it is a good lesson for all of us.
As you say - that's the one opening. Reminds me of what is NOW a funny story. Early in our popup camper days we stopped at a campground water spigot to fill our tank before setting up. I was at the spigot, and Mrs. S. was at the camper. Her job was to hold the hose in the fill port until the 10-gallon tank was full. I couldn't see her from where I was standing. After a while I thought we should surely be full, but she hadn't said anything yet. I wandered over to see what was up. Yup. She had the hose in the furnace exhaust opening. The entire inside of the camper was flooded, and water was running out the door. The good news: no permanent damage. Not even to our relationship! :)
This too will pass. You may be able to tell a funny story about it some day. I've often said that if nothing ever went wrong we would have no stories to tell
