Insurance will cover damages.
Just make sure dealer removes furnace and investigates FULLY the extinct of 'water damage'..... furnace area, sub-floor, wall, underbelly/insulation etc.
Had a fitting blow off on backside of water heater in middle of night.....flooded 5th wheel living room, kitchen, 2 slide-outs. Poured out thru underbelly and flooded our site and 2 others.
YES water was on via city water connection.
NO we did NOT turn it off at night ----WHO DOES??????
We did change HOW we use water. Pump only.
Damages $6000 plus because a $0.50 fitting failed.
Get it fixed.......just be sure it ALL gets fixed
Then chalk it up to 'Remember when??' and move on
