  • While it's entertaining it's hard to imagine why someone would actually buy it. It's been demonstrated many times over that weight isn't a big factor in gas mileage, and with a trailer that long one would still want a vehicle with a good sized wheelbase to tow it.

One might speculate that it's well made and really nice inside (there are zero pictures of the inside, and it's not in the video either), but there are many others that are well made and nice inside and cost an order of magnitude less.

Now if they could make it for 40-50K with very good quality they might have something.
  • I like the look, but that is about it. People who can afford that don't typically have any interest in camping. It is all hotels and service. Also, some people who have that kind of funds would likely be very fiscally savvy and IF they were to go camping they would make a more sensible choice w.r.t value for money. Airstreams are in business and remain in largely because they have that niche. There are other manufacturers that build higher quality without the need to use carbon fibre and drive up the cost unnecessarily (for this type of vehicle).
  • Don't see how this model can be successful. Most RVers are looking for a `deal' so how much less than $160K does it have to be before picking one up?
