Do we assume there is a propane leak on the inside or could the sensor be bad? We purchased the trailer in 2011 and the detector says replace by 2015. Is this an accurate replacement date? Also, is this something we can fix or should we take it to the dealership?
Most likely it has reached end of life. They are not cheap, around a hundred bucks, but very easy to replace, so no dealer labor to pay.
You can get the info, model number off from it, and order on line. Mine was just a couple of wires, fastened with wire nuts, easy swap.
