Carefree awning electric motor replacement

Looking for information on how to replace the electric motor in a Carefree awning that I have on my 2008 Jayco travel trailer. Also is it correct that instead of paying $200 for the stock item from a dealer that the motor is the same one that was made for a specific model car window which you can still order for $33?
