If you order an F150, you can get the HD payload package, bringing it anywhere from 2,400 lbs to 3,000 pounds. A very few dealers, usually with large fleet departments, may stock them but they are rare.
3/4-tons are great, but probably not necessary for you, considering the low amount of towing.
