There is apparently a reading comprehension problem here… but that’s ok, believe what you will… I put it out there it’s all from the mfg… that apparently is a unreliable source according to what I am reading here…
all I can suggest is for you e-mail them and phrase the question any way you wish and post their response back to you…
THERE WAS NO BACK AND FORTH… I e-mailed them one time and it resulted in 2 return e-mails and a follow-up phone call initiated by them… no one was more surprised than I… I had accepted their first e-mail as their legitimate position and their canned answer to the question (one I actually agree with BTW)… there was no pressuring them and there was no mention of liability by anyone …
so you just refuse to accept what they told me and anything that is printed in their website…
that’s ok, but you accusation is as I said baloney, not once have I been critical about their product, their quality or had a bad thing to say about their tires… but there is no legitimate and official information available from the tire mfg. for use on anything but light trucks and vans… I quoted what they said, it’s not my words, it’s theirs, and it’s not taken out of context…
it isn’t just a liability issue either… in my state we have state safety inspections and if I put almost any of the 15 inch tires you have mentioned on my trailer, it would fail the inspection per inspection guidelines…
if there is an agenda here it is yours… but I am willing to read any information you have from an official source stating their value as a trailer tire replacement… only one of the C rated tire mfg. as far as I know will do that (the 14 inch Kumho 857)…
