Gas cans should be red...yellow is diesel, blue is kerosene. Obviously invest in a quality can. Bear in mind that the rear of any trailer bounces a lot, and most RV bumpers aren't designed to carry much if any weight, so be sure your mounting is strong. I would also consider locking them somehow.
