I just redid most of the seams on our Palamino. I used a utility razor knife and a small scraper to get most of the old caulking off. I was told to use Quad caulking a few years ago and that's what I've used since. Seems to be pretty good stuff. It is very sticky and tacky! For things on the roof, RV stores will sell a "self-leveling" sealant to put on/around vent bolts and such. I haven't used it yet but will soon. For seams, I also mask off the surrounding areas, leaving about a 1/4 inch on either side of the seam. Apply the sealant then using a finger wet with water, wipe off the excess and push it into the seams good.
