I think this use of "crude" language is a little overstated now days. yes it can happen, if I hear some it is fleeting, only a couple of minutes till he/she gets out of range. I think it has been many months since I have heard R or X rated exchanges. as usual most folks who don't use one are experts on the content.

Hope you were not directing that at me bumpy but as I stated I run LSB all the time and usually am on 19 two or three times a day. Maybe you need a better radio and antenna if "only a couple of minutes till he/she gets out of range". I talk to Cali, Texas and Florida among others all the time from Ohio. Running a Galaxy DX with a K40 antenna mag mounted in the center of the roof. Works for me.
