I put two new CBs on the boat this last summer to chat with the two boats we traveled with. It was like a "new" secret quiet "place"!
They are hard to find in stores now and had to be ordered. One online at home and the other at a marine store up in West View, BC Canada. The guy was surprised that he was able to get one out of Vancouver for me!
If we truck it on in the truck, it is also very different than it was years ago. I asked about a traffic situation and someone responded that most of the truckers are gone now. It also was quite quiet!
