I'm a seasonal camper and in the rules of the campground, we're not supposed to use an electric heater. Last summer my furnace was not functioning properly (yes, we sometimes have cold nights in the summer) so I used a small ceramic heater and it does the job but it takes a long time to heat a 27 foot trailer... The furnace is ducted and is a lot more efficient, with everything that uses propane, I went through the whole season with a 30 pound tank. So I have the ceramic heater as a back-up.
