Chairs instead of a dinette

Back again. I am looking for an ultra light trailer and I find that most dinettes are just uncomfortable and would prefer two chairs I see the Escape has a bed in back and a dinette in front. Does anyone know if you can remove it and install chairs or does it cover the water tank?
  • We have a Cougar (half ton model) that has the dinette in the slide. It was installed right on top of the carpet and was easy to remove. You could probably check under the seat cushions in whichever model you are looking at and see if it has something under the dinette.
  • Most TT have stuff under the dinette seats...water tanks, Heater, storage compartments...etc. The smaller the trailer the dinette seats end up being perfect spots to cram this stuff in.

If the floorplan on the manufacture website shows a dining table option instead of dinette then the dinette seats probably are just used for storage and can be removed.
