Chalet TC frame construction ?

Anyone know some specifics about the chalet frame construction and materials on their truck campers?

I've heard the roof has no struts and the frame is aluminum with a wood support box in the bottom (the basement that supports the rest of the frame).

Any info or experience?

We are looking at the ts116.

  • For the roof, walls and floor they use interlocking aluminum for superstructure. They also use Rigid foam for insulation wich contribute to structural integrity. The roof is 4 inch thick with interlocking marine plywood fully walk on and ducted for a|c. Floor is 3 inch thick. they use hd steel tie down to old interlocking aluminum panel and wood. Every stress point bolted through steel plates(jack brackets, tie down points and walls floor roof)Before we place our order I called Chalet with a list of questions.
