Chalet TS116 Info?

This unit has been out awhile (looks impressive) does anyone possess one? I know they cost a pretty penny and they kind of look like they should. I sure am curious about how well it rides, quality, customer support and etc.

Just picked up ours July 15th. It is the new model with the rear bath
and storage area. Which makes the bath bigger than the TS116FB.Pm me if you have any questions..

  • Rollin, I have had a TS116 since 11/11. We love it. It has a lot of space and the design, build, and equipment are great. Now, having said that, let me say that we have had some issues, I believe that all new units have them. But, we've gotten great support from the factory and/or equipment suppliers. I've made several modifications that have made a good unit even better. It is a very heavy unit when you add goodies. So make sure you have a big truck. I have upgraded my truck and now am very comfortable with the whole package. PM me if you want more info. Larry
  • Hi I have a chalet ts116 what a beauty the space, solar panels everything is worth every penny, the storage incredible. We had a lance 1050 so compared to that its a mansion. The cabinets and drawers are Sturdy no problem, the sink is deep which is nice. I don't drive it but as a passenger feels no different than the lance and the husband says it rides nicer.
  • I would make sure that i was able to repair the slideout myself if i had to.
It appears as though you have to work the slide to enter as well as use the bathroom. If thats true, then the slides on that model will see more action over time . At 3700 dry w/o any options, you will need some kind of H.D. hauler.
  • There are a few here. They just haven't been out this long.
