Changing interior (and exterior) bulbs to LED?

I orders the LED bulb with the most segments for a given size. Some were natural light others were a bright blueish color.

All give about the same light as the bulb they replaced with a lot less heat and wattage.

Neither the original nor the LED bulbs are bright enough for me to read by. Currently I am looking at some LED work lights.
