Love how people have such advice and have no ideas on the variables. It depends on how much you use the batteries, your charge circuit (yes this includes wire size) and a number of other factors. On one outing I ran the furnace all night and while it said when I stopped the next day that it was charged it drained the battery in the middle of the night as it charged it but never topped it up 100%. On another winter outing on the first day I ran the furnace all night, never did much driving the next day and the second night I was fine as even with it being cold it was not enough to really drain the batteries either night.
What I now try to do (unless it is -30) is camp one night without hook ups and try to plug in the following night to make sure that I am topped up. Also when I plug in I use the 110v heater to let the batteries fully charge.
