Charging laptop from 12-volt battery

marininn ... The inverter-to-outlet sounds like a great idea. I have an outlet in the storage space below, and since I will be using a separate deep cycle battery for the inverter, all this equipment can be hidden away below deck. I have my TT on my property in the Puget Sound, and it has yet to have electricity. So hooking up to shore power is no concern ... for now. I will switch off the converter breakers anyway so that I can get in the habit of doing so. But I do have a generator. But this inverter system is to get me off the generator. Hope this works.
