Charging laptop from 12-volt battery
Does anyone have any inexpensive, uncomplicated ideas on how I could charge my MacBook Pro using a 12-volt, deep cycle battery on my travel trailer? Inverter? 12-volt power adapter? I could google it,...

Just get a DC Laptop Car Adapter Charger Cord. You can plug it into car cigarette lighter or the DC outlet in your camper.

PS: ANY appliance that has a little black box somewhere along the power cord, is really a 12v item. The little black box converts AC to DC.
I have picked up adapter cords for everything including my TV and they all run on my 12v system if and when I am boondocking.
It is just plain CRAZY to invert the convert back to the original 12v.
Don't believe me - go read the input and output info writen on the little black boxes.
