Well, I am very impressed/overwhelmed with everyones help, in so many different ways to recognize and alleviate any concerns I have over recharging multiple batteries in a camper, when ordering a camper package system from Ford in 2012.
One of the last posts brought up an interesting point about the charging systems working fine in ambulances and other service vehicles. I don't know, but suspect that the companies that modify vehicles for special purposes might also modify the electrical charging to any additional batteries. I am going to contact one of these companies today (got a day off and it is too cold to work outside), to ask what they do.
I have also contacted Ford, given them the address of this thread, to ask them of their opinion (hopefully from an electrical expert) of what is being discussed. Their generic chat line had no detailed information beyond that it would be a slow charge. At that point, I asked for my request be forwarded to an electrical engineer or equivalent. I should hear back from them in a few days.
In the meantime, I am planning on a 150 amp solar cell system, directly to my batteries, with an appropriate controller. And it looks like, at least right now, of getting a smart charger like a CTEK. My truck is getting a air bag compressor installed today, and I am going to run this by the service techie.
Boys and girls, this has been a fun discussion, at least for me. I am just an analog guy in a digital world. I will let people know what I find out from Ford, service vehicle companies, and my techie.
