I bought mine at a local sporting goods store and the manager told me Honda would not let them advertise them for less than what they tell, which is $999 for the 2000. He was able to give me $100 dollars off for $899 so everyone's comments are correct.
They are a great generator and run very quiet.

Looks like it's either 899 or 999. That's all I can find. And Camping world is 899. I have no idea how long you'd be waiting for shipping.

Prices do vary greatly for Honda gens.
I got mine from Ball Power equipment who advertises in the back of Trailer Life magazine. They were $100 cheaper than anybody else on-line and $150 less than any local place. They shipped it FedEx for free with no tax. Got it in two days.

I got mine a few years back form Wise Sales... No longer in business, but they had great prices with free shipping..

After looking for them recently, all I found was a lot of folks with issues, like taking money and not shipping stuff...

I guess we now know why they went out...
