Emissions: none in NC for diesels only a safety inspection $10.00, tags $76.00 for 9 ton tags(past this weight class it jumps higher into the $100 range, for 10,000 lbs tags its $103 and goes up $10 each 1000 lbs after 10K. Taxes are just the local county and its based on truck book value. Haven't gotten my tax bill yet but this past September 1st you pay taxes and tags together, my truck renewed in August. I bought my camper tags last week and they were right at $100.00, before they were $11.00 for sleeping/camping/horse trailer tags.
