We have bacon and eggs in the morning, we will rinse our plates over the sink.....We have pasta for dinner, we will rinse our plates over the sink. Not all of that stuff will come out when you empty the tank. Stuff will stick to the grey tank walls and eventually cause a smell.
As for the black tank.......My $%^& smells and putting chemical does help.
