- NJRVerExplorerThe "Big 10" was sold as heavy duty half ton here in NJ.
At the time trucks over half ton were exempt from emissions tests in NJ.
The "Big 10" came from the factory with a screen in the end of tailpipe so you couldn't stick the sniffer up the tailpipe. - kw_00Explorer

Only makes sense since all the retro cars, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger and even some suv's Jeep, fj cruiser, and possibly Bronco.Perrysburg Dodgeboy wrote:
I seen them on you-tube a while back, they look kinda cool. At a cost of $5,995 for the dealer-installed options not sure I would do it. But from the article they are getting a ton of interest in them.

Maybe GM will take note and offer some retro packages.
I would love to see a Ford Lariet chrome package like the 79 F150 we had. (Of course, it wasn’t really chrome but stainless, but that’s just specifics... lol)
I think these trucks look jam up! The Orange and White one looks great. I have been rubbing that one in one of my Church Members face some. He is a die hard Chevy Guy and an Alabama fan. Ha! Preacher likes Fords and the Tennessee Vols.
Thanks!

Some did not do well such as pt cruiser, Chevy HHR, and t-bird so all classics did not survive the test of time.
I always thought it would be neat to make a crew cab mid 50's truck on a modern Diesel truck running gear with all the modern amenities. - jerem0621Explorer II

Love it! Still miss my old 72 C10.
My uncle’s ‘72 just lost the engine yesterday though it sounds like he ran it low on oil. It’s a 350 4x4 with a mere 404k miles on it. ;) I think it’s only had a new timing chain back at 2-300k. - kw_00Explorer

I can understand that for sure. I pick d up a 69 C10 a few years ago, and just really enjoy that truck. So simple, standard shift with a 350. No electronics to worry about, does have AC! Won't ever sell it for sure!
