Very well stated Sir. There’s so many good attributes the GM 6.0 has. It seems to run forever and never complains. I pull 10k with mine, get 8-9 loaded. Unloaded get 13-15 city and 17 hwy. 09 with 3:73 and 6 speeds, crew cab 4x4. Honestly I have never owned a better truck.

I have an older 6.0 and I don't check gas mileage any more. I am like a friend of me told me once that he doesn't check his mileage because he really like his truck and if he check mileage he would find out just how bad it was and then he would have to sell it and he did not want to.

I agree with the others that you will be in the 8-9 mpg range towing. Great truck for the money. 118,000 miles on it and still going strong.

The truck in my sig gets 8-9 towing, 14-15 all around unloaded.

Pulls great, wish it had a six speed though.

My 2018 2500HD (6.0 and 4.10's) is getting around 7-8 towing a 30 foot trailer that's around 7-8000 pounds.

Low was 6 in the Smokies and high was this last trip (beach) at 8.

Best (according to the cluster) was 17 not towing. 12-13 seems to be the average during normal, non towing driving.

Hauls like a beast and drives great. You won't be disappointed.

Our last trip this year was from Southern Illinois to Branson. Averaged 9 towing and 16 running around. 2015 6.0, 4.10 and tow a 30' travel trailer weighing around 7400lbs. Pulling the steepest hills around Branson, we saw 2mpg :)

Short answer, about the same as your Escalade.

I had a 2001 2500HD 6.0 4:10 and pulled around 6k lbs. I'd get 8-9 mpg towing, 12 in town. Those averages are similar to my current F250.

I have a 2007 2500HD 6.0 and get about the same as RobWNY 8-9 mpg towing 12-14 in town 16mpg hwy. My 5th wheel is between 9000 lb -10,000 lb
