True, although that FE doesn't get used much on highway, just on back roads. The 2003 had 3:73, but only four speed tranny. The six speed with the 4:10 gears is a real winner. Gas mileage even a little better, but I believe that's due to engine technology not gears. I'll stay with the 6.0L and 4:10 as long as GM builds it. A real workhorse ...
Only thing not stock is tires ... stock tires sucked, but put BFG 285 KO /AT's and it really hums along the highway, and provides good off-road and bad weather traction as well. Worked well in snow on Cape Cod, but now we live in Florida, so no worries about snow unless we go to the west, which we don't do in winter.
