Anyone carry their camper on a Chevy 2500 or 3500 with the 6.0 gas engine? With camper weight max 3000# how well does it do hills and mountains?

Have logged 125K miles with my 6.0L 2006 2500HD and Lance 845 camper (185K total on truck). Right at GVWR with camper. Absolutely no regrets having a gasser. Been across 12K ft passes in Colorado. I average 11 mpg during my 5-6 months of ramblin' with my camper.
