Volume isn't that hard to measure. Bed length x width x depth(changes with how far above the rims you measure ~~ sky?' = volume. Just walk around the lot with a tape measure in your pocket. Now configuration of that 'volume' may determine the 'shape' of what you want to 'stuff' in it.
