They get the extra volume from less wheel wells intruding into the bed. Be a little tricky to figure that with a tape measure on the dealers lot. I haven't actually see one yet, but it must be a fairly big reduction in the wheel wells. That can be a big deal for some
No....they got the extra volume by moving the inner bed walls closer to the outer walls. As a result the inner fenders now look larger.
