Chevy IFS front bump stop aftermarket

Jacked up the front end of the dually (see sig) Saturday morning to change the oil before I park it in the barn for the winter. I guess I got some more maintenance to do.

The driver's side front bumpstop fell out! It resembled a cube of stale sponge candy. Rotten after only 14 years... They don't make things to last anymore!!!

Looks like it needs new shocks too.

There's aftermarket/improved rear bumpstops for days... Is there anything for the front?

    I replaced mine last year but after reading multiple forums it seemed the factory yellow progressive stops (aka jounce bumpers) were the favorites among users. I'm not sure if the 3500 uses the same jounce as the 2500 but the GM PN is 15835667. They can be found for about $20 each if you shop around.

    Great company and great products but they don't list anything specific for a jounce bumper for my 2500HD and hardly any specific products to his 2002 3500. I guess you could take a gamble and try one of their universal stops.

    Years ago, I installed Timbrens on the front of my '96 Dodge 2500. They replaced the front bump stops. It might be worth your looking into. I din't think they were pricey.

    Timbrens I replaced my OEMs right after I got the truck. I could tell when I compared the two that the Timbrens were much beefier.

    Timbrens makes a GMFK25S kit for your GM, and put a set of Bilstein 4600's on it also. You will need it for that heavy popup you carry on your truck.
