I used to feel the same way.
VW Diesel pickup with over 300K no grease joints and no problems.
98 Ram 380K on U joints and still going strong.
86 C20 PU way over 300k and original U joints.
11 Ram not a single grease fitting, not even on the front driveline like it says it has with over 36K and no problems.

I had the head Chrysler warranty rep and head mechanic in Pahrump, NV in May look for it and it is not there. The head mechanic says not all have it. The rep agreed it is not there.
I am very mechanical and it was driving me crazy because so many said it was there.
