The first case covers 842,400 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks from 2003 through 2008. Chrysler says 116,000 were repaired with tie-rods in the steering system that could be out of alignment. Since I replaced the outer and inner tie rods myself I wonder if they it will be affected?
We just bought my DD a 1998 Dodge Avenger ES that had a recall for lower ball joints. Took it in and they replaced the complete lower control arm, and bolts. Did a wheel alignment at no cost to us. Works for me. The car does only have 38,000 miles on it.
