OP - Here is my somewhat professional opinion. I think unless you're willing to pay a lawyer to fight this in court you are going to lose. Even if you go to court you may lose. All they have to do is stick to their interpretation and you are out of luck. You can probably get a hearing with the planning commission, but I am pretty sure their intent when they passed the ordinance was to limit RV's over 24-feet - that's my take on it.
