I would also recommend a very simple floor plan consideration. We went from a tent trailer to a rockwood roo 21 ft model. To access the front bed you had to crawl over the dinette (and 2 sleeping kids at nite) which, depending on beer consumption, can be a couple times per night. We ended up with a jayco 23D that allowed for direct access to the bed. I am unfamiliar with the floorplan you are considering. Also love the side slide. Ours is only a small one, however it really improves the living space in any RV. Good luck.
