BTW, we just purchased our 2nd hybrid this year. We had the previous one for 10 years, and we are now in our 50s. We love having a hybrid.
I like the suggestion that dadmonh gave, seeing if you can find a rental hybrid. There are RV dealers that will tow a rental to a nearby destination and pick it up when you are done. At least in WI there are a couple that do that.
- Hybrids are not for everyone. For many of the reasons in previous posts they just don't work out for some folks.
- Be aware of noise. If you had tents and pop-ups in the past you already know, but you can hear everything outside, and everyone outside can hear you.
- "Common" bunkend "warping" isn't really common. It may have been on some early models. But we never had an issue in 11 seasons of owning hybrids. I have not heard of people complaining about this on anything made in the 10-12 years.
