The truck was running after impact, but was grinding when moved out of traffic. The force of the impact pushed the bed into the C pillars in the cab and creased both sides. The front bumper of the Ram hit the hitch from the F150 and pushed front bumper in about 6 inches. Towed on flat bed. The small Weber grill I was carrying in the bed with other luggage became a flying missle. Lesson learned. The cooking grates came flying out after impact and struck the metal strip right below the back glass where kids were sitting. The other grate hit the center of my Reese Triton Hitch and snapped off the "Reese" name plate and twisted the plate it was mounted on sideways. I was on the way to pick up the toy hauler for a camping trip. The bed of truck is pitched at an angle - headed to body shop tomorrow to see if frame was damaged or if C pillar intrusion is fixable?
