I have used the same type of wax on my RV's, Boats, cars, Trucks, snowmobiles and ATV's for over 40 years.
It's called Nu-Finish and is in a orange bottle. It is whipe on while off and it may not be the best, most exspencive wax on the market, but for the price it's great.
I had a 26' cabin Cruiser that only came out of the water once a season and I sued this wax. I could have spent a whole bunch more on different waxes but I never had an issue with this stuff.
I did the nose cone on my 5th Wheel a couple times a summer ( bugs) and they washed off with the hose most of the times, unless they got backed on.
My suggestion if your going to use a buffer, read up on the do's and don't on their use. Especially if your using it on a dark colour, and never use a buffer on a decal.
