Looks like you have found a camper you like and it's a good fit for your truck. It sounds like you should really enjoy the TT.

It doesn't hurt to negotiate, but it may be more worth while to try negotiating things you will need to hit the campgrounds as well as price (vs price only).


A combination of some of the items below could easily make up the price difference you see online (don't expect all of these).

Brake Controller (if you don't have one),
Sway control,
Surge Protector,
30-15A adapter,
Fresh Water Hoses,
Water Regulator,
Sewer Hoses,
Portable Tote,
Propane,
Battery,
Level blocks,
Wheel chokes (maybe even X chokes),

Hi, I don't think there are any extras on this one. I am starting to think $11,000 is a little high. The dealer claims $16,000 list, but I don't think that means much...

I paid $8250 for a leftover 13 in the summer of 14, this was for a 16 B. One thing I like about the Clipper is that it has larger tanks than most TTs of the same size.

We like this camper, but we are open to others.

We have a 2014 Honda Pilot 4WD, with a rated capacity of 4500 lbs.

We would like to keep it shorter than 19' to fit in the driveway.

It would be our first camper. We intend to use it first on local campouts at regional parks with our AHG Troop (similar to Girl Scouts), but our primary goal to to visit many national parks.

Are you set on this particular camper?
If so then the next two questions are irrelevant and like FrankShore said the deal would depend on what is included.

How much can you tow?
i.e. are you limited to a trailer that light, if you can add a few pounds, then you may be able to get some more bang for your buck.

Is this your first camper?

If it's worth it to you, it's a good deal. There are really a lot of variables involved in RV pricing so it's very hard to tell. I can tell you that last year we bought a 2014 Grey Wolf 26BH for just under $14K so you can say that I got 10 more feet for $3k extra. It all depends on what you're looking for and what you want.
