clogged toilet

Any tips on a toilet-paper (I think) clog in toilet drain pipe? I have a rockwood 8329ss and pipe does not drop straight down. I have tried using a piece of Pex tubing to no avail. Have not tried a toilet auger yet for fear of getting it stuck.

    No tips on clog other than prevention.....we have always put tp in small trash can next to toilet or head ..... so far no trouble....good luck getting it flushing....with kids no telling what kind of toy might be down there or cell phone
