- dadmomhExplorer"Expandable" can include hybrids but "Hybrid" does not include rear slide only. To be a "Hybrid" it has to have the combination of hard side and canvas bunkends. Can be confusing..
Agree on the measurement. Our ROO 23SS, which you would think would be 23', was box size 20'4" and bumper to ball was just a smidge under 24'. Believe the bumper to ball measurement is considered the overall length. - iplumbExplorer.

The x213 is on our shortlist but we have not been able to see one in person. Is there anyone here who owns one that I could ask a few questions?
We own a 2015 X213. Ask away. - FLY_4_FUNExplorerMy BIL has one from 2012, and I think I am as familiar with it as he is....ask away.
Daryll - HydrogenCyanideExplorerI owned one for two years and loved it. We upgraded to something larger now but no issues at all.

- lantanatxExplorerThe x213 is on our short list but we have been unable to see in IRL. Anybody own one that I could ask a few questions?

Hum!! Really?? Cause the definition at the top of the {HYBRID} page says "For those who enjoy camping in these expandable trailers". Didn't know "expandable" meant it had to have tent ends. I always thought expandable meant (wait for it) --- "expandable"
Well now you know :W ... hybrid means a travel trailer with tent end(s) and hinged platforms that drop down from the body of the trailer, a definition that if IIRC was introduced by RVision when the company introduced the hybrid concept to the RV world. An expandable trailer like the rear glide Jayco X213 is asking about is just that - a travel trailer with a bed platform that slides out from the body of the trailer. As such the OP's original query didn't belong in the Hybrid forum but rather here in the Travel Trailer forum, which is where the mods have now correctly placed it. ;) - SoundGuyExplorer

Back to the drawing board for a shorter trailer, or maybe a longer driveway? Lol
So inquiring minds would like to know ... just what is this magical length you have to stick to? :@ In my case, careful tape measurements showed I could go as long as 27' 6" coupler to bumper and be able to clear the garage door at the rear & sidewalk at the front. If I'd been willing to replace my swing up garage door with a roll up I could have "bought" myself another couple of feet before the overhang above the garage door would have become the issue. Once I knew exactly how much driveway I had to work with we purchased a triple bunk bed KZ Spree 240BH-LX that measured 26' 9" coupler to bumper and it fit just fine. We've since moved on to a shorter couple's trailer that measures a mere 22' 6" coupler to bumper so obviously it's even easier to place on the driveway, or any campsite for that matter. The devil is in the details so if you tell us the length of driveway you have to work with and what your requirements are in a trailer then no doubt others can offer suggestions that may help in your search. :) - TundraTireExplorerThanks. Back to the drawing board for a shorter trailer, or maybe a longer driveway? Lol
